It has been a while since we managed to get things updated around here, but we are still here with the same old excuses!!
CARY
You are still our little princess. The days our full of playing princesses and babies. All girls are
princesses and boys are either princes or knights--even though they act like dragons sometimes!
You try your best to keep your brothers out of trouble, but it is a hard job. You love to go storing (shopping) and you don't like stinky stunks (skunks). When brother is at school you
are a big helper and help keep Zac "calmed down and smiling". You are learning so
much so fast and we all love you bunches.

SAMUAL
You have so many firsts the last little while. You are growing up so fast.
The time is flying by. You are enjoying your first year of school, your first field trip
(to the pumpkin patch) which included a first ride on the school bus, losing your
first tooth (2nd one last night), and riding your bike without training wheels. It has been
a busy time. No one can make his sister happier or madder all with in 10 seconds! You're
little brother thinks you are the greatest boy around, and your Dad and Mom think so too!

First day of school with teacher Miss Knight
Same great smile, just with a little more space!

Zachariah
It is hard to imagine that we ever existed without you. You have the biggest smiles and
the loudest screeches. Life is so busy for you now--crawling or walking around things
to get into everything. You even took your first steps without holding on last week.
You love to smile and patty cake is becoming one of
your favorite games. You know how to get our attention and keep us all laughing.

Summer Time!

G-ma Troup also has a great truck for getting out and
getting things done. There is enough room for all!!!
Gma Troup had hundreds of great toads (in bucket) at her house.
It kind of made me have a little better idea what it
was like in Egypt!

Jace going under on his own!

Cousin Josh is great with babies. He loved
to "hold" Zac

Zac 7 months

We have been busy and not on the computer as usual! We have had a great summer. Mostly at home, but have saved our travels for the last couple of weeks!

Our week in Colorado was wonderful, and now we are getting ready for a week in Costa Rica!

Zac is on the move now, getting into stuff faster than I can clean them up!!

Here is a few pics for now and will try to get better ones later.

A Special Tribute To Grandmas!

Granny and Zac March 08

There is nothing quite like a grandma. She always has a special way she loves and spoils. We lost our Granny Beek April 26, and we sure miss her.

It makes us even more thankful for all our Grandmas, Nanas, Grammies, Grannys, etc.!

Zac's growing faces!

Showing off his 2 teeth! almost 4 months
3 months

2 months

1 month

3 days
The past 4 months have flown by. It is almost hard to remember what life
was like before this little guy came along. Big brother and sister still think that
he is the best. The day after we got back from Colorado (March 2), his first 2
teeth came through (poor mom!) and he started rolling from his back to his tummy.
This week he has figured out how to keep going and get across the floor! It seems
like there is always something to do!

2 months Summary in 10 sec. or less!

Cooking breakfast with Dad!
I don't know what is happening to time, but it is going soooo fast. We took a long weekend to Colorado the end of Feb. It was nice to get to see everyone and help celebrate Aunt Cathileen's retirement. Andy had to go to Indianapolis for a week mid March, so we all went with him. We didn't get to see much of him, but the kids and I had fun exploring Indy! Otherwise, we have just been hanging around KC, and trying to keep up with the daily routine.
